Our school receives federal funds for Title 1 programming. We work very hard to meet the needs of your students using great programing and effective teachers. †At this time, 100% of our elementary teachers meet state licensing requirements for the grade level and subjects in which each teacher is providing instruction.† Para Professionals at Plattsmouth Elementary are also highly qualified.

The Board of Education of Plattsmouth Community School District #1, Cass County, Nebraska, will meet on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, with a Board Retreat Workshop beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Room at the†Plattsmouth Schools Administration Center, 1912 Old†Hwy.†34, Plattsmouth, Nebraska.† An agenda†for the meeting, which shall be kept continually current, is readily available for public inspection at the†Superintendentís†office during normal business hours†and at www.pcsd.org. Enrollment Option Program-Is it too early?
No, it is not too early to start thinking about the enrollment option program for the 2018-2019 school year. The Plattsmouth Community School District is accepting enrollment option applications from families that are interested in a joining a district that is on the cutting edge with support for our students.
We have an early childhood center/Head Start program that supports students from birth to age 4. Our elementary supports students in grades K-4, middle school includes grades 5-8, and our high school includes students in grades 9-12.†In addition to teachers, support staff, administrators, and Board members that are committed to providing high quality core curriculum learning opportunities for our students, we have the following services available.
1. Three full-time school social workers
2. Nurses or a health aide in every building
3. Two full-time high ability learner facilitators/coaches
4. A full-time instructional facilitator/coach
5. Approximately 50 extra-curricular activities in middle school and high school
6. Outdoor classrooms
7. High school wall-to-wall career academies for EVERY student

The Plattsmouth Community School District has approximately 3 acres of land for sale that is adjacent to Hwy. 75. Click here to see the aerial view of the land that is for sale. Perfect Attendance Program at PCS
In cooperation with Plattsmouth Scooter's Coffee, we are starting a perfect attendance program for students and staff members at PCS. Every month during the school year, an elementary student, a middle school student, a high school student, a support staff member, and a certified staff member will be randomly selected from each of the identified groups. The selected individuals will receive a free small drink coupon to the Plattsmouth Scooter's.
For the month of August, the following individuals were randomly selected to receive a free small drink from Scooter's for their perfect attendance at PCS.
